I've been lurking for some time now and I've finally decided to contribute to the community.
I just turned 24, am married, and am a recent college graduate. I live in Arizona. And that's all I've got to say about that.
Purchased my '06 A3 2.0T DSG in June, just broke 2K miles the other day.

I'm thinking about a chip and a downpipe, but may have to wait awhile...
My wife isn't too excited about the possibility of voiding a portion of my warranty.

 

I'd just go with suspension and some new wheels. Start light and then get her into it.... Then your golden.

 

Chip (or reflash, to be technically correct) first, before anything else. The performance gains are tremendous. Advise your wife that it saves gas.

Stock Sport Package suspension is quite good performance-wise, but a little high in terms of ride height.
