Ok I'm not sure what the policy is with the 07's but my 06 A3 has complete maintance and oil changes for 5yrs or 50,000 miles which ever comes first. So At 49,990 I'm going to take it in for the final 50 and not pay a penny. Why does no one else have this?

Let's make sure we keep "Warranty" and "Maintenance" separate. Of course, Warranty is 50K for everyone and for repairs of things that go wrong. But the Maintenance deal changed for the 2007's. Only the first year is free for them. You have to purchase the maintenance contract (which is not an extended warranty, but for your service.) for something like $500.00 Some guys have been slick and negotiated this in. I paid for it. Regardless, it is still a good deal, since maintenance over 50K miles will well exceed the $500.00.

The oil changes on the 07 are not free like the 06. If you pay an additional $550 you get scheduled maintenance for 4 yrs / 5OK mi. You may get the dealer to throw it in at their expense (I did). Check edmunds.com and go to incentives and rebates for more info. Also I travel a lot and verified the non coverage in CA / TX / CO / VA. If you buy an 06 new or used you get the maintenance plan.

Yeah, I need to get some pics on here. The blue is great with the rails. I've been travelling a lot since I've got my A3 and just haven't been home or had the time. Right now the car is filthy from sitting at the airport for the weekend. I'll see if I can wash it up and get pics before I go on another trip this weekend...
I actually tried to get the rails on a 2006 that was sitting on a lot. They told me they could do it, and I've had another dealer tell me as well. But it's pretty labor intensive after it's finished and left the factory. They have to drill holes and tear out the headliner a bit to get to where they need too. That's what made me call off that deal and just order them from the factory. But I'm sure there are a few dealers out there that have the experience and could do a good job.
It's pretty amazing that they can make it fit with the open-sky system.
