My Koni FSDs Stopped Working...Anyone Else?
Greetings everyone,
This Sunday afternoon while running errands with the family I suddenly noticed that my Koni FSDs seemed to have no more rebound damping. I thought I was just feeling the affects of a fully loaded car but over the rest of the day and driving to work the next morning I was sure of it.
I could tell it was mostly the large body motions which were uncontrolled (low speed damping) as sharp edge bumps were properly dealt with. I called Koni tech support and the rep assured me he had only heard of two or three FSD failures since release. My question is, anyone else loss damping on their FSDs? If so, all, a pair or just one?

I've had this happen... twice! Two sets of FSDs failed on my car (both fronts). The reason has yet to be determined, but I am now running Koni yellows. I experienced the same failure you describe: complete loss of rebound. The care started floating like a '70's Caddy. If I ever get a reason for failure from the MFG, I'll let you know. PM me for any more info.
Griffin Motorwerke verified that mine were defective. If you both are totally floaty, then your's are shot too! Start a claim with Koni please.
Huge favor, PM me with the results of your conversation with Koni. The Koni tech I spoke with swore that he had heard of ONLY two FSD failures since launch!

I bought both sets of defective FSD's from Neuspeed, who replaced them without issue. As far as what the problem was, I don't expect Koni will ever admit or reveal any defect to the public. It is possible that there was a defect in a particular production run and we are all the victims. This strut has been out for a while, and I was told by Neuspeed that previous to mine, Koni had not had a set returned.
