Neuspeed Intake Questions

Neuspeed Intake Questions
I am thinking about the neuspeed intake but have a few questions:
Has there been any known issues between it and say the ECU/shifting/etc...?
With the intake installed, is there noticeable "roughness" in engine throttle feel and cabin feel through the pedal?
With the intake installed, at highway cruising speeds, is it noticeably louder?
Thank you

RE: Neuspeed Intake Questions
Any intake system you install where you remove the stock tube and engine cover will produce more audible, coming from the turbo spooling and the intake sucking air. Highway you wont notice it as much or at all.

RE: Neuspeed Intake Questions
I have an intake and other mods on my silverado (havnt done it on my A3 yet) and I dont really hear the intake too much, you just have to listen for it and you can hear the intake sucking in the air, but no not really you wont notice it too much I suppose

RE: Neuspeed Intake Questions
I have the neuspeed intake. All i hear is the turbo spooling, and DV dumping when shifting. no roughness. Throttle by wire, so its impossible to feel anything in the pedal. The car drives just as smooth, and identical to stock. No real power gains either unfortunately, maybe 5hp max.

RE: Neuspeed Intake Questions
The main difference between the Silverado and the A3 is the turbo. All of the DV and Turbo spooling will be heard through the CAI. It isn't very loud, but a great sound IMO.
Cheers!
