Has anyone thought of getting this mod, or has gotten this since it's release?
APR's new fuel pump for the A3, comes with remapping of the ecu and gains of up to 25 hp.
Cost $ 1k and change.

 

Is this beneficial if you are running the stock turbo? Does it take care of the fuel cut exhibited with most chip tunes? Is the remapping of the ECU complimentary to any existing chip tune, or does it replace it? If it cannot be used with an existing tune, what is the point?

$500 tune = 50hp > $1k fuel pump + tune = 25hp

 

I was holding off on the pump and such until the big turbo upgrade. It would be nice to have some feedback from someone who already has this installed. Were there any local guinea pigs???
