New Member with a new 07 A3 3.2 Quattro
Hi. My name is Lou. A few weeks ago I got an 07 A3 Quattro. It has NAV, Open Sky, 18in Rims and it's black on black leathers. I've had it for about three weeks now and I realy like it. It has the DSG. I'm not so happy with the shift points, but all in all it's a nice tranny. The stereo is nice. I like the SD card slots but I might get rid of the CD changer and put in the I-pod adapter. The power steering is a bit light but I've read that it can be adjusted so when I go to the dealer for my first service, I'll see if I have that look at. Hear's a couple of quick pics I took when I took the car home. I hope you like it. See you in the forum.

Welcome to the forums Lou! The car looks nice, I've always liked black on black.
Have you tried the 'S' mode on your DSG? That should take care of your shift points quite nicely and make it more fun to drive, but it does use a bit more fuel.
Steering can't be adjusted on the '07s (as of now). This was something that could be done through Vag-Com on the '06s, but the option is absent on the '07s. There is some speculation that it may still be adjustable and Audi just did a better job of hiding it, but it's just speculation -- no one's found it yet.

Hey Lou. I've been a lurker here, but saw your post and thought I'd chime in. You'll love that car. I've got an '07 3.2Q with similar features, but in lava gray/black. (I've got 18" wheels, but different ones that you too.) I love that engine. I almost always drive in manual mode, although I know that sucks for gas mileage, especially the way I drive. I also put in a Haldex 2 upgrade, which seems to take some of the understeer out, but even with stock AWD it's a hella fun car to drive, and a real sleeper.
Enjoy!
Enjoy!

Welcome!
Lou, nice car. I own a 2007 3.2 S-Line with 18" rims (the 5-spoke CU7 version as opposed to the attractive 14-spoke PQS flavor), technology package, cold weather package, and satellite radio package. It's a sweet ride! Enjoy yours as well.
