Default New Owner, been using wrong gas type! Suggestions?

Hey Guys,

I have owned my 2015 Audi A3 for a few months now. I have always been using regular unleaded 87 and just recently found out I should be using premium gas 91-93. Is there anything I need to do or just start filling up with premium gas? Did I miss up the engine/car since I have been using regular unleaded 87? Please help!

Just fill up with premium & drive. There s/b no problems. Recommend usage of "top tier" premiums. For more info on this Google "top tier".

^ what greasykid said.
I have run all three grades available in mine over the years, sometimes having to buy what was available (regular for days after hurricanes and only 1 gas pump working). I could tell a difference in regular and premium. Almost as if the ECU detuned the motor for the lower octane fuel. Fuel mileage also went down with regular, possibly because I was pressing the pedal a bit more than usual to maintain my expected acceleration for things like getting on the interstate.
