Thanks for all of the responses. Still looking for a set. Really just want a set that's quite but still performs well in the Seattle weather.

The Kumhos are really quiet on good pavement, while making a little more noise on irregular pavement. Excellent grip in wet or dry, but they are high performance summers, so if the temperatures dip too low. . .

I had the Contisports as my original and I have liked them but unfortunately a harsh winter before i switched to my snow tires have caused cracks so I also am looking to replace.

I took off those pathetic Pirelli's and put on a set of Continental ContiExtremeContacts, I don't really drive mine in the deeper snow's. That's what the suburban assault vehicle is for, but, for moderate snow and ice - the tires were great. For dry traction - I like them so much better. I only have about 5K the new rubber so the noise factor is still in a wait and see state. But, so far - if I had to do it over again - I'd still get the same tires.

Continental ContiExtreme all seasons.
awesome in the rain and great when dry.
a bit of road noise in the beginning, but not much after they get rolling.

I just got Michelin Pilot Exalto for the Summer, cuz i live on the west coast, the weather is unpredictable, since its like my first month using them, the handling is amazing.

I use the Michelin Pilot Alpines for the winter, i must say they are slick, especially since i have to go up a snowy mountain for school

btw i use 225/45R17
