Anyone know anywhere local in socal that sells oil filters for the audi a3? i called one place and the jackass said that the 2.0T motor doesn't exist. I refuse to use Fram crap. The local kragen doesnt even have them in stock anyway. Any website or anything i can use? i really need to get my oil changed.

 

Audi dealership. No one else makes filters for us yet. Besides, you need to go there anyways to pick up a new crush washer

good lord...they want $25 for a oil filter. What a rip off. My last car(toyota) cost < $5 for an oil filter. I could get a case for $25. I guess thats the price we pay for driving audi's.

 

Keep in mind the audi filter supplies a replacement rubber o-ring. Yes there expensive, but you gotta do what you gotta do

 

ECS tuning sells them. They are made by the company that OEs them for VAG/AOA. They are 9.95 each or 47.95 for 5. They also sell a magnetic drain plug and the Pentosin 5W-40 synthetic oil.
