Holy **** - that's pretty bad. I had assumed it was a subtle issue and thoroughly examined my roof yesterday. Nothing at all like that, and it's been 95-100 degrees and humid here in NC for the last two months.

AManCalledE, how's the weather this week in your neck of the woods? Going to be in Tulsa this weekend.

 

The same trim piece lifted a bit on my my car, too, but nothing compared to that.

I noticed the rubber gasket between the trim piece and theOpen Sky panel popped out a bit--it really wasn't all that noticeable unless you compared it to the trim piece on the passenger side, which isn't lifting at all.

Ihad the trim piece fixed under warranty at my 5,000mile service, which worked temporarily, but it's lifted out again--just not as bad.

I live in S. FL, so I'm sure the heat and humidity won't alleviate the problem. [&o]

 

well im in LA, and the heat is pretty intense ( summer highs 100+). i got the trim back in as much as i could and it's just popping out a little, but plenty enough to do damage if it decides to rain here soon.

Wow! never heard or have seen anything like that. Maybe Audinam in Vegas has but for the year I had my car in the LasVegas 110+ Heat I never even saw a lift or warping of anything. mine is an '06 so maybe the cheaped out a bit in '07 That really sucks.

 

Same thing happened to me last saturday here in Pittsburgh.
Furthermore, by opening the trunk the trim scratched the paint on the trunk spoiler.

Of course the dealer has never seen this problem before and mine it's the first case.... ahahahaha
