Default Parrot CK3100 install

I've got an 07 with the symphony II stereo. I just installed the Parrot CK3100 bluetooth kit and once I figured out the wiring it was a simple install. The parrot people and the people selling the harnesses didn't have a seamless worked out solution, so I had to get a little creative.
If anyone is looking into this install or has questions feel free to throw up a question. Just wanted to put this out there - as I didn't see anything on it when I searched.

I'm very happy with it by the way. The only problem i've had is when it read's the menus (which can be switched off) the sound quality crackles. It doesn't affect the call quality at all though.

good luck.

Parrot makes a great system, and with the quick connect MFSW add-on you'd be in good shape. That said, any reason you wouldn't consider Fison? The only non-OEM aspect of that sytem is the mic placement.

"a3 in va" - which installation you considering?
I have a 07 A3 w/standard single din radio and want to add bluetooth capability - ideally would like to use MFSW buttons....... there are a zillion postings - had to find one easy-to-understand solution on here.....

Hey mate, I just purchased a Parrot CK3000 Evolution and I will be installing it into my A3 with a Symphony Unit.

Is there any advice you can give me?

Do i need to purchase new wiring looms and do a lot of changes to the wiring?

Funny I see this thread. The S4 I just bought has a CK3100 in it. I didn't even know what it was. I found the manual in the Audi Onwers manual and got my Blackberry setup with it. THat thing is awesome, seriously I love it. I turned off the voices for the menus as well as I noticed it was a bit weird.

I have to say, now after having one, I would absolutly install this unit in the car it's really a treat. The call quality is excellent and people have no idea im on hands free. WHen a call comes in it pauses your CD or Tuner and displays the persons name on the unit.

Other than my Avic D3 in my 350Z with bluetooth this is the best integrated system I have see or used ever.

Default Microphone?

So, with the Parrot kit, do you need to place the microphone or will the car speakers take in your voice? This is the one thing I can't seem to find any information on. If I try to install it, I'm concerned about having to place a microphone as that means removal of interior trim. Thanks.
