Okay my A3 brethren. I went to the SoCalEuro event today and it was a lot of fun. Around a 1000 cars, every major tuner, and hot women abound to make a really good event.

Who makes the "three ladies in moon boots" option for the A3? I think my car would look better if every time I stopped these ladies stood around and provided it with shade from their umbrellas.

Looks like a great time was had by all! What a fantastic way to get lots of ideas for an Audi A3 all in one place at one time. I would have had a notebook and digital camera with me...

 

Yeah, to take pictures of the cars. Right.

BTW, there were only a handful of A3's at the GTG. I think everyone but mine was in some vendor's area. The ABD GTI was by far the coolest of our lineage. They had the VF Engineering team's 2.0TFSI engines with the GT28RS, and the GT2871 turbo upgrades. The kits are available soon, with 4 going to different dealers around the area this week, and to the public just after that. The GT28RS upgrade includes the manifold, turbo, fuel pump, tuning, and injectors. It will generate around 350whp and cost $5k. Very tempting for me, well, after I buy the wife's house.
