I have an Audi A3 1.9TDI Sportback, 2006 model.

I have just in the last couple of weeks lost the reception on the radio on both FM/AM station. You can hear this very faintly while stationary but nothing at all on the move.

Prior to this everything was perfect and then it started playing for a couple of seconds then cutting out and the another couple seconds etc.

Could this be the Antenna amplifier or rear windscreen (seems to be working fine).

Any help on this would be extremely appreciated.
