Hi,

I own a TT MK2 in wich i've changed the radio to a Pioneer AVH 3300BT model. Including a power amplified antenne adapter. But still my reception is very poor. Strange thing is that when i pull out the radio from the dashboard the reception gets much better.

Any ideas??

I had this issue with another car before. When you put the deck in the dash, make sure that all power and ground wires are not touching the antenna. I had the red power wire from the deck touching the antenna wire and it effected the reception.
