The two Misano Red A3's look hot. I love the way the rack looks with the factory rails. Very clean. Is it easy to take the rack on and off?

Thanks!
Yeah, the rack is really easy to remove. Takes just a minute or two.
A little more time consuming to put back on though because of the way the feet work.
Once you loosen them enough to unclamp from the rails, they feet can now slide around under the cross bars. So when you go to put them back on you have to re-center the bars before tighting everything down.
I need to figure out a way to keep the feet from moving once i get them where I want them.

I'm so jealous. My Yakima kit doesn't look nearly as clean, so its off most of the time. Oh, and I forgot to give you props for having a fixie (or is it a single speed?).

Ha! yeah it's a single speed, so I guess I deserve just half a prop.
And i stripped the left crank (which is why there is no pedal on that side). Doh!
Taking it to my lbs now...

Well, as long we're showing off our Brooks on Rivendell bikes (That is an Atlantis, isn't it?), here's my Brooks B17 Champion Special (titanium), on a one-off Rambouillet:

BTW, my license frame and plate say:

My other car is a
RMBUYAY (license plate)
Bicycle

No one understands it.

One of my criteria for this car was that it had to hold two bikes and two people inside. The A3 does that, even with my big 64cm frame.

Ha! Awesome!
How to cool to find another Riv/A3 owner!
I was gonna say... that must be at least a 61 frame. Wow. Pretty color.
I had mine custom painted black and cream. I don't know of another one like it.
The only other bike I'd love to have is a Vanilla... Those polished lugs make me horny.
But the current 4-5 year wait kinda kills the mood!

Here's a full pic of my current commuter setup.

When i first got it though i had the moustache bars and baggins bags.
The bags fit the part but they really didn't function all that well compared to the arkel bags I already had.

We have seriously hijacked this thread! My apologies.

It's a 64cm frame. I'm only 6'1" but have very long legs. Sometime in another thread I'll show how I modified the driver's seat mount in the A3 to better accommodate them..

Aren't Arkel bags great? I have XM-45 panniers and my wife loves her T-28s in a unique blue that works well with her custom Erickson bike.I also like the Carridice "Barley" bag as my every-day bag - the white leather strips have even discolored to a decent match with that sage green paint. Here's the Rambouillet with both, Mt. Rainier in the background:
