Hey Everyone.

Anyone ever have a grounding issue on a 2015 A3 1.6 TDi Stronic. I. Getting random weird errors when the car is cold (gearbox fault, handbrake fault, drivers door fault) then you turn off and turn back on then it goes away. When its hot outside or you have driven for a while then not a single error.

I’m having similar buffering elect issues with my 06 A3 3.2 from what I’ve gathered could be a short in a harness, or ground, exam, in order to diagnose need to get all into it checking ecm with a pin out . I’ve had a few mechanics say could be rodents chewing on stuff. Intermittent issues as such I guess often relating to faulty grounds wiring connections etc . Let know what find

 

i have had it connected to diagnostics at a few different places, nothing comes up, 1 guy told me there was a faulty sensor in the engine bay and in the steering column, but nobody else saw the same thing, its really a very weird problem and it is only present if its cold outside. on hot days not a single problem at all.
