I've recently just purchased an A3 2.0 TDI Sport 2004 with 111k on the clock.

I've have a few questions/ issues that you might be able to help with.

Is this car on a timing chain or belt? I've heard it could be both.

The self checker button that scrolls through various warnings when you just have the ignition on...are these showing actual faults as some are in red (like the brakes)...as they don't show as actual fault lights on the dash. Is it supposed to say 'OK' after the self check as mine doesn't. Might be down to the boot issue below.

Boot light is on saying boot is open when it's shut. I've heard this could be water ingress due to a leaking wiper? Is there a way to shut the sensor off?

Radio only picks up AM frequencies and barely any FM, is this a common problem?
