Default Really Really Bad Day

Today was not a good day at all.

I was returning to school from work this after noon and just passed under the I-75 overpass on sr-52 in florida. As i was getting about 1/4 mile away from the highway a group of cars were passing me in the opposite lane when the most random thing happened. Out of nowhere a giant hubcap came flying across the road into my lane. Despite efforts to brake and swerve out of the way the hub cap seemed to react like a heat seeking missile who's only mission in life was to destroy the side of my car. And it did. It hit the bottom of the front drivers fender behind the wheel and proceeded to scrape a few patches all the way back to the rear fender where the carnage finally ended. I pulled a u-turn as fast as i could safely. i sped up the road as fast as possible looking for a car missing a hub cap but i couldn't find anyone when i reached the highway on-ramp i ended the search i checked a few gas stations in the area but no luck....i returned to the scene to see if anyone would pick up the hub-cap but no luck.

Now i just have to get an estimate to see if its worth going through insurance to get it fixed.

I keep trying to upload a picture and its telling me that the file is too large

f'n hub caps!! that sucks. sorry buddy.
today i was cruising on the 101 N, and a good sized rock hit my windshield making a super loud sound. thought for sure it was cracked, but was my lucky day i guess. i looked all over for a mark, scratch, nick...anything, but luckily to no avail. so weird.
anyway, good luck getting it taken care of!
