Hey all, Just wanted to see what other A3 drivers are using.. Audi did not specify which grade of fuel to use.

 

Really? Typically it's listed inside the fuel access panel and/or on the gascap itself, and also in the owner's manual. I believe 89 but do re-check the cited info locales.

You need the octane rating that will prevent pre-detonation (aka dieseling, ping or knock) and without requiring your ECU to retard the timing. Any higher octane is a waste of money.
