Hello newbie here,

I'm in a real pickle, i'm pretty certain that the amp in my 53Reg 3.2 Quattro Sport has gone. Ive bought a 2nd hand one from Ebay and am looking to fit it.

However, i'm struggling to get access to it. i have a few questions

1, what side is it on?
2, how easy is the job?
3, how much would it cost for a specialist to do it?

Ive tried to get access to the RHS wheel arch panel but i'm struggling. One car audio "specialist" reckoned it is on the LHS and could do it for £70. Another, said its an absolute nightmare of a job and the last time they did it it took around 8 hours and cost around £250.??

Who is correct?
