Are they as good as everyone states they are and why,and will i really get 62BHP gain?

C'mon people help an A3 1.8T 1999owner out!

 

Most of the people on this forum have the 2.0T a3 - the Revo claims for hp gains are true for the 2.0T. As for a short answer to why you get the HP increase - Audi totally detunes this engine out of the factory. By raising boost and changing other engine programming, those HP numbers are just what the 2.0T is capable of!

Not sure what the gains are on the 1.8T a3.

 

I think 62hp sounds high. I'm guessing you have the 1.8 with 180hp now, online revo estimates only about a 27hp gain. If you have the 1.8 with 150hp you're looking at a little over 50hp gain. I'm not sure what the difference is with the two different 1.8T's and I really only know about the 180hp which is in the older A4's. You can try the software before you buy it, go by on of the shops and they can give you a real answer about the gains.

 

The 1.8T has a ton of potential for more horsepower, but I think 62HP just from a chip tune does sound a bit high.

 

I have a 1.8T 150BHP

Before the rempa i will have had upgraded:

Milltek Big bore downpip
Milltek High Flow Cat
Milltek Cat back
Forge Recirculating valve
Viper Induction Kit

???

And are they the best Remap to go for, or is there a better one, i havnt heard of many others?
