I am having trouble with my A3. Think it's a sensor but don't know which one. Engine revvs up on it's own - mostly when idling but has also happened when moving. If I turn ignition off it won't start up strait away. Any ideas?

how much does it rev up on it's own exactly?

 

you might need to check the throttle cable that goes from your TB to where ever it goes. it could be getting caught up in something
