Hi, Sorry probably a stupid question but what is the offically service intervals for the Audi A3 2.0 Tdci? and do i have to use longlife oil or will a good quality oil be ok if changed more regulary?

 

I just bought a 2011 A3 TDI, and officially the service intervals are at 5K for the first and every 10K miles after that. (e.g. 15K/25K/35K/45K...) And the manual specifies synthetic oil. (Which I think is synonymous with long-life oil)
