Default Service Light

My service light keeps on coming on at start-up.
I just changed my oil and just need to reset the service light on my own.
Anyone know how to reset for 2006 A3? [&o]

Default RE: Service Light

I have had an ongoing problem with my service light. The dealer keeps resetting it and about 500 miles after the reset, it comes back on. I know have about 13k on the car and have reset the service light 4 times. Not sure what is happening. I take it to the dealer and they reset it for me.

Bad seal at the gas cap maybe? I'd certainly have the dealer do a computer check

If the service interval display is reset manually via the dash panel insert it will automatically be set to a fixed interval.

–
Switch on ignition.

–
When button 1 is pulled out the message “SERVICE” will be displayed.

–
Within the next 5 seconds pull the button out again until the message “SERVICE IN .... KM... DAYS” appears.

–
The service interval display has been reset.
