Hi ive got and 2002 A3 1.8t, i just installed a manual boost controller and i was waiting to boost 14psi, (since a friends jetta and a skoda rs are doing it) and the most i could boost was 11psi droping to 9psi like in the 5000rpm range. If i pass 11psi ill enter in soft lim.
Someone told me about sonme work you do in the wires of the car, that it makes the ecu think the car is boosting 8psi, and you can really be boosting more ex. 18psi, this procedure like disables the soft lim of the car im really not sure.
Has anyone done this or knows the consequences of doing it?
