Stereo removal problem - need help plz
So I got my Dice I-Audi-R iPod kit today along with the two keys that the enfig folks said I needed (linked below). First thing I did was put one of the two kets in the slot, it clicked and the key is now 100% stuck.
They only sent me two keys, so have I put it in the right way and just don't have enough of them, or have I just screwed up and stuck a key in my stereo?
I'm in a 2008 A3 with the base (concert) stereo btw. Thank in advance for any replies.

Those look like Chinese throwing stars lol ! For how sharp they are, they seem as if they were designed to slice and dice an enemy instead of remove a car stereo.
I should know, I bought 4 from Enfig to install my Dice harness and if it weren't for a single one that just wouldn't engage, I would have had a breeze of an install. As it was, I had to keep reinserting it after it kept popping out while the remaining three stayed stuck just like the one you're talking about. All keys must be engaged for the stereo to release itself. Finally, after cutting a deeper groove on one of the keys with a dremel tool, reinserting it and then jiggling it while pulling on the other three keys semi-simultaneously did the head unit start to slide out.
I had to grip those sharp metal stars so tight that my fingers got sliced by their razor edges (Thanks, Enfig btw for less than perfect quality control).
My advice to you: Wear gloves if your enfig stereo removal tools are as shoddily manufactured as mine were. You most likely will not have the problem that I had. In fact, if your keys are stuck, then all is well. Just insert keys in the remaining slots and pull the stereo out. It should wiggle a little then begin to slide.
I don't really know how many keys the Concert stereo requires. Symphony - what I have, has four slots for the keys. Take a look at your stereo. How many key slots are there?
Once you have the stereo out it will be easy to remove them. You may have to pry a little piece of metal back from the slot on the key. No problem. You can use a little flat screwdriver or sometimes your finger(nail).
Hope this helps.
