Default stereo removal

hey guys! quick question on the stero in a 2000 a4. i've bought a zune and love it completley. i started off buying the fm transmitter with it, but it was not very effective, and produced horrible feedback. so im looking at hardwiring it directly the the stereo. i dont have an aux. port on the stereo that im aware of, however i do have a cd changer button, that is not hooked up. so far i've found out that it is a 16 port connection adapter. i've located the part needed to turn that into standard rca cables. which leads me to my question.how hard is it to pull out the stero on my car? if i had it professionally done it would cost 100 dollars, so doing it myself would save me that. has anyone done this in the past, to even install a new cd player? is there a website that has a walkthough?

thanks for your help.

Just buy the bloody radio removal keys. They're wicked cheap. I bought mine from Sam Stag Sales, but I later found this guy, and they are way cheaper:

Good luck...this is definitely something you can do yourself. Use the money saved to by gas or Zymol.

you put them in the 4 slots in the face plate on the stereo headunit, they will click into place, you will feel it, after that just pull out on the stereo and it should come out.
