Default Sweaty Seats

So maybe it's just me, (coming from a warm climate) but something about the seats in my 2007 A3 really make my back sweat. The leather seems to have absolutely no breathability. I've owned a couple of cars, not Audis, with leather interiors and have never had this problem.

Has anyone else experienced this? Are there any good seat cover options I should consider? I just had the 15,000 mile service performed and everything with the A/C checked out fine. I'm open to any suggestions. It's a little embarassing showing up to work with a big wet patch on my back everyday. Thanks.

it's not just you, same issue here. Even occurs if I'm just in a tshirt.

What is alcantara center - who offers this?

That happens to me all the time but I am usually coming out of the gym. So I would lay a towel there so that it doesn't absorb nothing but sweat and start smelling.

Yea, it helps w/ the sweating. Haven't had my car for the last 2 months as I'm getting a replacement transmission controller. It's Alcantara, which is a high-end brand of suede-like material. They're actually replacements as putting it on top of the leather would perhaps create more heat.

I was lucky and bought them off someone that use to own a A3. He got the work done somewhere around the San Fran area IIRC and moved to NY. He said the work cost about $2000 to get done.
