I swapped my Dunlops for the Hankook Ventus V4es and the difference is night and day. Dunlops were unbelievably noisy.

Go to 18's if you can swing it. I just got ASA AR2 wheels $169ea and General Exclaim UHP tires in 225 40 18 $84ea from Tire Rack. The car looks and handles great. The Generalsare one of thehighest rated tire by other users at Tire Rack due in no small part I'm sure, to the price.

They may be inexpensive but I have them on my car now and they are quiet, handle great, and they also are like 3lbs lighter than many others. I did have one problem. On of the tires was outof round - vibrating at around 80MPH. We figured out it was coming from the back so Tire Racked shipped me out two newtires and is paying for the mounting, shipping, etc.

I replaced the incredibly noisey Pirellis with Continental Pro Contacts. They're quiet, smooth riding, and great in rain and on dry roads. Much, much better then the P6s.
