toast howd you get the front orange reflectors pure white? did you just paint them? and is that illegal?

 

Yea. I bought a set from the dealer and had them painted white along with the eyelids and side skirts.

Technically it is illegal since no light can pass through them now and they are not orange, but to be honest I don't think a cop would notice.On my C230 I replaced the front rub strips with the euro ones to remove them, andon my Jetta I got a set of super dark black ones(my car was black)and removed the bulbs so its basically the same as what I did on the A3. Never had an issue with cops. Although, it's always possible. I don't think I would get pulled over for having them painted. If anything, I would get pulled over for tint and Maybe get written up for the side markers too if the cop has nothing better to do.

 

where did you get the sideskirts?

 

There are a couple places that sell the OSIR stuff for both the TT and A3. This web-site I think has the best pricing. Personally, I like the OSIR way better than the Oetty.

Also, as per Chef's sugestion I have ordered the euroJet PCV fix in hopes to regain my lost boost =/ I will possibly be getting a new PCV and forge DV soon if this fix dont work.
