Due to lack of Audi Dealerships in general. Has anyone used VW dealerships for warranty service? Is the knowledge/level of service the same?

Just curious. There is one down the street from me....

 

Ive used an audi/vw dealer before. I'll be honest, I wasn't happy at all with the service. For my 25k service, they didn't even take the car out for a test drive, "because it was snowing". I immediatley switched to an AUDI only dealer.

If you don't have a choice, ask if the dealership has an AUDI certified techie, and use him only when you take it in for service.

Sure its a bit snobby, but there is a difference between Audi and VW, even if it is just the price!

 

I own both a VW and an Audi. While I'm sure it's dealer-specific, I have to agree that the Audi dealership is a different level of service. I feel sorry (not really) for ppl who bought Phaetons (are there any?) and are getting VW-level service.
