Hi All,

I have a 2007 A3 2.0T that I've had since it was new. I leased the car 3 years ago and loved it so much that I bought it last month.

I currently have the base radio that came with the car, not the bose... I would really like to upgrade to the RNS-E Navigation system and possibly add blue tooth to the car.

I see all sorts of RNS-E systems on eBay for roughly $800.00. How difficult is it to do this? What do I need to do? What is a good type of shop to do the job if it is too complicated for me?

it is basically plug and play providing you have the adapter that allows you to make it so. the only part you have to do is run the antenna to a safe location... i like to go under the kneepad / steering column and place it by the fuses, others have ran it up through the dash and on top of the cluster, you can tap into the sharkfin if you have it but it is unnecessary.
