I totally hear ya on this being a more adult crowd. If not adult, definetly more mature and the friendliest Audi forum I have encountered.

Today is my first full whole week since having my A3.

Just filled up the tank for the first time. No self serve here, so I was carefully watching the gas man as he softly and gently gased my girl up! haha.

What type of gas are you fellas putting in your A3's?

My sales guy told me that the car runs on "regular gas" and dont even bother with "premium gas".

But I still put "premium" when I did my first fill.

 

well Ive never heard of most of those sites but ill have to check them out now, I have to say this site is number one for me because it was the first I found and I have no complaints so far

 

I use the recommended premium, just always done that. This week I FINALLY found out how to see my MPG info on the heads up display! Just have not had time to figure everything out. I decided to basically cruise @ 65MPH for my commute each way (about 30 miles each way not much stop & go, mostly highway) - The gas mileage is amazing if you actually drive like a normal human being. Of course I was being passed by everyone so I would not call it "normal driving" but certainly recommended. I got about 130 miles out of quarter tank, quite impressive. I am going to go this whole tank to see how well I can do....

 

This is the place to be. Yeah here we aren't the most technical but at least we will admit to it. VWVortex has a bunch of kids that think they know it all. My audi knowledge is growing but my VW knowledge is great up to the new engines and there is allot of false posts on VWVortek. We have fun here and are as honest as can be and state what is on our minds. Yeah we are a bunch of spirited drivers but who wouldn't be driving these wonderful vehicles.
