What cust. tire/rim are you running?
I'm ordering my 07 A3 2.0 Sline this week and want to order the Hartmann's I want, but I'm curious what tire y'all recommend for daily (38 yr. old teacher/soccer coach I am) driving with some decent performance though. On the rims I want (which I have no idea if they are heavier or lighter than what stock are and if y'all think they are too heavy, etc.) are the B7 RS4 - 332, cast in 18x8. Here is what Hartmann quoted and recommended. What do y'all think?
"on the 18" ET 45 the best choice would be a 225 width tire, unfortunately tires are only sized in 10mm increments so a 230 is not available. If you could find an ET 50 wheel you may be able to use a 235 but we don't offer that offset in this wheel and to my knowledge no other manufacturers are planning on building a wheel with that specification.
Here are some package prices for you, all prices include 4 wheels, 4 tires, 4 OEM Audi Centercaps, Shipping and free mounting and balancing.
with Falken 452 tires =$1,720
with Yokohama AVS Sport tires = $1,918
with Yokohama Advan Sport tires = $1,956"
Is this a decent setup? Good deal?
Thanks!
