Just ordered an A3 2.0 STronic, S-Line, Open Sky, Rear Side Air Bags, iPod, Heated Seats form Audi Manhattan. 32,000. Borrowing the $ from my home equity line of credit. Looked at leases but its the same deal everywhere. Audi's lease on this car is just impossible to justify and they're financing aint great either.

Audi has 2.9% financing on the A3 this month, found it on edumunds.com.

Audi Canada is offering 0.6% lease financing on A3s for March only on a 3 year term. You guys down south might see something similar soon.

Hi, I'm new here...mostly because I don't own an A3 yet. I'm looking at a used 2006 A3 2.0T 6SP, <10k miles tomorrow or Thursday; and Iwas wondering for those of you who said you got your A3's used (byrun & kmag53)...how were they optioned? I'm having a tough time understanding howan "upmarket" car likean Audi, which listed at 30k+ is suddenly losing 30% of its value with under 10k miles (the one I'm looking at is ~23k too and has the Premium package and the sunroof(s) option).

Did you guys who bought your A3's new get great deals off of MSRP so that the drop isn't as bad as it appears? A guy I work with whose dad works at an Audi dealership said these aren't selling well because of price...there is a nice new black 6Speed S-Line at another dealership with the Titanium package too (which I haven't seen yet), but I think it's at 32k or 34k-- even if I talk them down a few K I can't see spending all of that extra money for some flashy bits and firmer shocks.

Anyway, hopefully I end up buying one...so my questions can be more interesing ones regardingECU mods, wheel upgrades, and body shops in the Philly area...

Thanks!

Wizzleteats - I bought my '07 A3 6SP (premium, open sky, cold weather) with 10K miles and got it for 24K. This was purhased through a broker at an Audi auction in Florida - and I think it was pretty close, if not a few thousand under BB or edmunds. I think, like all new cars, especially the luxury market, there is the typical depreciation right when you drive it off the lot. MHO.

Mine was equipped with the cold weather package, premium package and the open sky. Perfect for what I was looking for. Frankly I was not looking for a black vehicle but when I got it the car has "grown" on me in that color...I think it looks really nice in black. They were asking 24,895.00 for the A3 but got them down another grand. Not a bad deal in my books and the fact it only had 4,000miles on it made it that much sweeter.
