make sure the noice is coming from the mirror, i thoughti had that problem with the mirrow also, but found out that it came from my open sky and the noise echoed down towards the doors.

 

I'm sure it is coming from the mirror. When I put my hand out the window, it stops if my hand covers the top outside corner of the mirror. Unfortunately, it is intermittent and only happens when winds are calm. I've not had the dealer look at it yet and figured I'd ask them on my first maintenance visit (I'm sure it won't be whistling for them when I do take it in).
