The wipers on my 2001 A3 have developed a problem where they seem unable to stop after using them. When returning the stalk to the off position the wipers carry on moving, sometimes stopping halfway up, i have so far eventually managed to get them to stop at the bottom but the prob seems to be getting worse. Just dont seem to want to 'park' after use!
Has this happened to anyone else? any ideas?

I used to leave the wiper stalk in the intermittent/rain sensing (tech pkg) full-time, with the car on or off, and sometimes the wipers would act quirky when I next turned the car on. Nothing constant though...and I now just turn the stalk to the off position until wipers are actually needed.
