WOW WOW WOW!!!
Thats all I can say. Test drove a 3.2 S Line today. I am stupified.... This car is just rediculous! Very involvong driving experience. The exaust note was awesome, and the power was great. Fast. Smooth ride, even on crappy roads around Boston. Any one could have told me that this was Quattro instead of Haldex, and I would have believed them. It drove like the Quattro systemin my A4.
I called 5 dealers in the Boston area, and only one had it! Around here, no dealers have them. Not sure how I am going to find one. MAy have to order? And they quoted me some unbelievable mark-up just because "3.2 S are in high demand, and no one can find them" Unbelievable. Just the same, what a great "drivers car"

If you're into modding, go for the 2.0. I personally am satisfied with the 3.2 and have enjoyed it more than any other can I've owned. The only mods I'm into are Euro spec mirrors, tint, exhaust and chip.
Ira Audi in peabody has 3.2s. They have an awesome one thats all loaded up (lava grey) $39k. Personally id save the 6-7 grand and get comparably equipped 2.0T.
This is where i purchased charlene...through 1 service...no complaints

Yea, what a sick ride! Not into modding though since its a lease. Maybe I will check IRA. I am looking at getting one with S line, open sky, cold weather package and Xenons. Gotta have Quattro. And have already tried the 2.0T engine (what I have now) so looking to try a different power plant. MSRP for this car is about 37K but I know I can do better.
Can anyone believe that I was quoted 1600 down and 687/mon!!!??? (3 year, 15K miles per year) lease. This is off the map considering offers for other cars in this price range I have gotten have been closer to the 550-600/month range.
I have been told by two dealers that Audi does not have a "formalized lease program" for this car and that is why I would be paying a premium. Is this BS? Anyone have any insight about this?

I think the dealer is full of ****. The 3.2 is hard to find because they are not selling thus they don't make many of them. Everyone that I have seen is listed around $38-40k. That is alot of cash for such a small car. You can get a very nicely equipped BMW 328xi or a base 335i for that kind of cash and walk away with a 4 yr free maintenace warranty. It is too much for what you get. Stick with the 2.0 and use the extra $10k to upgrade it and buy yourself a big screen TV.
I have seen the light cshecks! You were right.
I wish what the dealer said was BS around here! It mustbe a regional thing... I have spoken with5 dealers. Even if I put $3000 down, its still going to be 640/mon. for 2008 A3 3.2 S lease. [:@]It will be very unfortunate if I cannot work out a deal.
I know because I priced a 335xi (43,700) v. A3 (37,000). There is no way I will pay 687/mon (another A3 quote) on the 37K car, when I could pay 600/mon for the 43K car!!! Unbelievable! These dealers are on crack around here with the $hit they are offering me on the A3. Shame because the A3 is such a sick ride. Audi is turning away alot of biz here because they choose not to be aggressive with their lease price on this car. This is just my opinion. May just have to look at pre-owned. I have until the end of April until my lease is up. Any other help/suggestions regarding these $hitty deals are welcome.

Well, I live in the pacific north west and ther are probably 5 Audi dealers in all of Washington, Oregon, and Idaho, and there were only FOUR 3.2 Quattro's in the area. I had slim pickins as well, but i was lucky and found one w/ out a ton of options (i really dont like audi navi, no hid's, no cold weather package) and so i got into it for about 35,000 grand. Keep looking, and remember to hit up the internet salespeople. Remeber, Audi only has about a 2000 dollar margin on there cars so if you can get 1000 off that is a decent deal for a rare car. And most importantly, as my own past buying experiences tells me, always buy better performance vs. foofy options, you will never regret not having heated seats or HID's, but you will regret not having quattro or a 3.2 liter v6.
