Default "Click" in heating/vents

Does anyone else hear a periodic clicking coming from their vents? It seems to be when I use the heat, not the A/C, and it's on auto. It happens a few times (click..click ...... click..click). Should I call the dealershp (2005 A4, under warranty still)?

Mine clicks all of the time. If you listen closely, you can hear a small servo switching back and fourth. I'm not sure what ist is either. I have a 2003 A4 1.8T.

I had to go to the dealership for another issue so I brought it up. They said there is a TSB about this, and it's covered by warranty. So it's going in next week for them to figure out which of the 5 motors it is, order the part and replace it.

It will most likely show up in as an error code next time you bring it in ask them. I have the same exact issue. It is the servo motor that controls the vent flaps. You have to remove the radio etc. and get to it.

The error code I got was V158 (Left Temp Flap).

I definitely hear ya though... it sounds stupid but it annoys the hell out of me. When you shut the car off you hear the click... click... click... click... annoying.
