im pretty sure this light is just to a service indicator but it came on so long ago, and i still havent been able to get it off, anyone know how to get this thing to go away? ........1997 audi a4 2.8....... \

That is your computer telling you to change your oil. You can reset the lite if you want it to go off look in your owners manual for instructions.

Nope - pre 98 models need a vag-com to reset the light. I reset mine so I won't see it for 99,000km
