how much shoudl i spend on a new clutch??? i dont want to get a cheap clutch and i am willing to pay for a durable high performance clutch. what is a good price range???

What?

You shouldn't pay any more than $500. A Spec Stage 1 clutch or Southbend TZ Stage 2 will work fine. Both are $400 and can handle most bolt-on upgrades you may want to do to your car.

The hard part is finding a place that won't rip you off on the install. Labor is around 8 hours. Find a shop that will do the install first.

 

I kind of meant with installation, not just the clutch itself.

It would be senseless not to include installation, as most people would find this a bitch to install themselves. (including me)

and, most upgraded clutches I have seen run 1000-2000 for stage 1,2,3 clutches.

that south bend is an upgrade and its only 500ish if you look around you will find some good deals
