Default *couple quick Q's...speedometer and headlights*

Alright...#1- I just installed a set of 18x8.5" w aset of 235/40/18's to replace my stock 15's w 205/60/15's...my question is...is my speedometer still correct?...and if not, by how much is it off?

I am asking mainly because I haven't been passed on the freeway by anyone in the past few days, and I have onlt been going 72-75 on a 65mph (I am usually passed at least twice a day(there really isn't much traffic on my freeway))

#2- I just installed a set of euro RS4 two piece headlights and the look a little off, should I leave them be or do you think an eyelid like this one would help? Link to Eyelid (obviously I would have it painted to match the car)

Picture of my offset headlights

oh, and there is no way to move the headlight housing, they are currently adjusted to perfection

thank you for any input, and I have noticed the wheel gap, the car will be lowered in the next month or so

well you stock size tire was 24.7 OD where as your new tires are 25.4. So at 65 mph on your speedo you are actually going 67. so lately you have been driving around 75-77 instead of you 72-73 mph. the wheel gap is because you increased your ground clearance a little over a third of an inch. in terms of the headlights I always ask opinons, but no matter what anyone else says go for the way you like it best. after all is is your car, so it should make happy before it makes others happy

thanks sdboarder, I new the diameter was nominally larger, I just wasn't sure how substantial of an increase my wheels had on my cruising speed...I guess ima start cruising at 70 (on da speedo) in 65 zones... and I was completely aware that the larger wheel size was the culprit of my wheel gap, I just mentioned it to attempt to keep any flaming to a minimum (I wish I got the sport package!...at least I have the steering wheel though)

as far as my headlights go, I know I will be the one making the ultimate decision, but I would appreciate any added input...

dombomb-

I paid 136.98 u.s.d. shipped on ebay...Ima silicone them up b4 winter, but I have washed the car a few times since da install and I haven't had da least bit of fogging....

here's da linky if ur interested lliinnkk

this is stupid but if you have the bigger tires do you get slightly higher gas mileage?

Ive been thinking about getting those lights. Do they increase the output much and do they fit well?

outasflyguy- I believe that the added size/weight of my new wheels/tires actually decreases my fuel efficiency...

a88fl1- the headlights fit really well, they are a huge pita to adjust to perfection, but after adjusting them they work phenomenally well, I didn't notice much of a difference with headlight output, but my brights are ALOT better (it lights up the dead of night like da sun!)...in my opinion they are definately worth the price, to me they are like 2 -piece e-codes

haha, yeah, I really don't like the look, but after installing and adjusting my headlights the "beam housing" and the "corner housing" are off, not by much, but it sort of bothers me, so I figures I could cover up the imperfection....these are the eyelids that I was looking at (the least ricey I could find for the car)
