Is this a private sale or from a lot? What shape is the car in? What options does it have? My 98.5 has 105K miles now and it still runs great. But maintenance is required and the older a car gets the more it takes. Things will start to wearout on a car this old. And you may end up with a few bills in the months after buying it.</P>


I would pay no more than 10K for it. Just be aware of what your getting into.</P>


things to worry about:</P>


* Timing belt - if not already done it should soon be coming up on its 2nd change (130k).</P>


* Suspension - may be getting a little mushy by now.</P>


* Control arms - probably going to start squeaking if they havent been replaced.</P>
