here is the kicker.

they audi certified pre-owned warranty covers the water pump, but not the thermostat they had to put in, so now i gotta see how much that is going to cost.

my dealer had said i could put 87 in, so in nj at least we have full-service gas stations, so i never really looked at the inside of my gas cover to see the kind of gas that should be going in. I figured since i went to an audi dealer, they would know the type of gas that goes in it.</P>

anyhowz, from now on i will be using 92</P>

Mehurrman - are you here to bash people or to help people? Relax, man. Not everyone understands the concept of octane for specific engines. For some cars, 93 octane is actually not recommended.

In NJ you care not even allowed to self service you gas right, Maverick?<edited><editID>brrman</editID><editDate>38111.447662037</editDate></edited>

I apolgize Maverick, im just tryin to be FRIENDLY! <img border="0" src=smileys/smiley10.gif border="0"> anyway dont listen to your dealer i cant believe they said put 87, your car has turbo, its bad for the engine if you put anything less then the best.

holy s**t, bro. I guess they have to tack on at least 1 hour labor for the 2 minute job. You never get anything for free at the stealership.
