Im looking for an exhaust that sounds more like a grand prix car vs ricey. the audi's an auto. any ideas?

 

I dont know about Grand Prix, but Borla and Magnaflow are popular setups, as is Milltek- but its the least loud.

 

I guess its more important to be quiet, problem with anything loud is that when i go home from college i would get a lot of crap from my dad for it. Its not that he has a say, id just perfer to have my trips home be a little bit less stressful. Which would you recomend or all they pretty much the same in terms of performance. I used to have a dodge stealth and borla was the best for that, but i dont know if it carries over into Audi's

 

Borla is best all around imo as for sounding/priced/performing. I would have got Borla myself, but have front trac, so my aftermarket options were limited. I went with Milltek, pricey, but you get the performance gains, and the sound is very mild and Im super happy with it. Fitment was perfect. Other than that, if youre on a budget and/or have a monster BT setup a custom piping job with magnaflow mufflers is a great choice.

I have a borla in my 01 1.8 A4 and love it. sounds so much better then stock. my dad doesnt like aftermarket anything but actually said it sounded good.
