02 A4 timing help
Hey guys, i know this has been talked about before im sure, but i tried a search and seem to find topics for the b5!
My car is about to hit 75k miles and i want to do the timing belt change. Where can i buy the kit to do it at and how much will it be?
Is it exteremely hard to DUI?
Thanks in advance

And no it's not that hard but just VERY time consuming. The hardest part for me was getting the bumper off!

ECS tuning has kits for about 280 dollars that include everything, except the 3 front cam seals, which you may want to do. I wouldn't attempt this unless you have the tools, a Bentley manual or have friends who have done this before. If you are experienced at DIY, then you can do it. However if you screw up, your engine will be toast and you are looking at a 2500 dollar bill to rebuild the head and replace the valves.
I had never attempted anything like this either but I did not want to spend 600-900 to have it done! It really wasn't hard at all. I used this DIY and a manual:
