Hey guys,

Just wondering if anyone has been successful getting their 02 sensors replaced under warranty? I am outside my warranty but have recently been told that everything emissions related is convered under some "special magical" warranty. If anyone has proof of this or any comments, please post below.

 

that would be badass if your O2 sensor was still covered.. they arent cheap.. sorry no exciting info for ya [:'(]

mine went out at 51,000, and the dealer said no, $130.00 shipped, not to bad on price just make sure which one is bad.

 

Me and the local Audi stealership here aren't exactly friends. We had a "falling out" about the oil sludge issue. AoA, the stealership and myself may be in court in the near future.

 

The o2 definatly would not be covered by the emmsions portion because it is an engine management componant.

 

True, I tried that, I even tried calling Audi USA, they gave me the boot, I was running at 51K as well. I think theres more details in the manual about you car have to meet a certian criterea.......

FYI - stealership qouted me about $800 for both 02 sensors (2001 A4 1.8Tquattro)

Its not hard to install yourself..............bought my part from autowarehouse.com
