i just finished replacing the seatbelts for my A4, and when the dealer tried to re-set the airbag light in the dash, the same faults came up ....the seat belt pretensioners ....
are they suppose to reset the codes once or twice and then re-program the aibag control module....

the car did have the seat belt pretensioners fired.....it was involved in a slight accident, it has new driver and pass airbags..

Did they/you replace the tensioners, too?

As far as I know, all codes are reset together; the airbag codes are last on the list though. I am not an expert in this area; the airbag control module and their codes are supposed to be left up to the dealer. It can be risky to play with these codes on your own.

It may be a simple case of "One more try."
