Hi all

I have an 06 A4 Avant with the bluetooth cell phone system. I have been looking in the owner's manual to see if there is any where I can turn up the volume and / or increase the sensitivity of the built-in microphone.

I did a test today where I was parked in a parking lot (duh) and called my home answering machine and talked to myself for a while (I know... werid....). I then called back and played the message to get an idea of what the sound quality is like.

The volume of the recorded message (from me to me) was very low and very "thin" so I can't help but wonder what it would sound like if I were to use the hands free system while driving on the freeway while there is some road and wind noise.

Do any of you have any experiences with this? Any way to adjust the sound to the better?

on the b6 hook up (direct not bluetooth) if you press and hold menu it'll display volume and operation options, i turned mine up from there. i know its not the same as yours but hopefully this helped.
