Nice.. Except few people are going to be able to provide legit records of oil changes per Audi's maintnance schedual.

Did you say that you haven't changed the oil filter, or did you mean you haven't switched to the larger filter?

 

Ive changed the ol filter just not to the larger one. I'm hoping that helps pick up the gunk. On a positive note the dealer swapped out Chevy Cobalt loaner to a new A6 with 157 miles on the odometer. They still haven't gotten to the engine flush and some other minor work being done. Needless to say I've been having a good time taking my frustration out on the A6. The new A6 is heartless by the way. No character, reminded me of a Lexus. I'd take the A4 everyday of the week.

Yeah I remember being on the phone with the stealership swearing about the f#%*(#U*g oil pump... its not a fun thing. If you missed one oil change I'd challenge audi for your repairs. One oil change shouldn't be the deciding factor in the failure of an oil pump.

 

Shouldn't be. I think a lot of it comes from the luck of the draw. Bascially who is handling your claim on that specific day and are they in a good mood or not.

I feel much better after wailing on their A6.
